My journey with Nordic Walking began when I was looking for an outdoor activity that was fun, helped me keep fit and was sociable.
I enjoyed it so much that I decided to train as an instructor with NWUK so that I could share the joys of Nordic Walking with others and show them how it would benefit them.

It is suitable for ALL ages and fitness levels as you only walk at the pace that suits YOU.
Like pilates it can help improve your posture, increase your muscle tone but an added advantage is that it also improves your fitness levels.
Walking with poles, helps take the pressure off your joints so can help with neck and back problems as well as giving your upper body a workout.
